"RSF UPDATE"

The Special Operations community mourns the recent loss of Tommy Lazzaro. This really hit close to home. Tommy was the son of Tom Lazzaro, a Director with the RSF’s Board of Directors, and who was one of the original Rangers to establish the RSF. Our prayers and support pour out to the entire Lazzaro family. We got your back. Rangers taking care of Ranger families. Tommy, our beloved brother and honored son, rest in peace.

RSF Application Process

Dependent Family Member of a current or Veteran Ranger of the 75th Ranger Regiment.
Registered in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS).
High School Senior, High School Graduate, or an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college/university or post secondary vocational or technical institute pursuing degree or certification.
Undergraduate Student must not have reached 26 years of age by August 1 of year applying for a scholarship.
Graduate Student must not have reached 28 years of age by August 1 of year applying for a scholarship.
There is no age limit for a Spouse as an Undergraduate or Graduate Student.

Fill out and send your completed form stating your desire to apply for a scholarship.
The RSF will then send you an application via email.
Mail the completed application and all required documents to the RSF postmarked no later than February 6, 2025. Only applications and accompanying documents sent via mail to the RSF will be accepted; the RSF cannot receive applications and accompanying documents via email.
Those individuals awarded a scholarship will be notified during May 2024.

Please note that the application window for scholarship awarded for the school year beginning Autumn 2024 is between January 2, 2025 and February 6, 2025. A recipient may receive no more than one scholarship per year for a total of six (6) annual scholarship: four (4) undergraduate and two (2) graduate.

The Rangers Scholarship Fund (RSF) is a certified tax-exempt and tax-deductible IRS certified 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization established to award merit-based scholarships to eligible Dependent Family Member of a Current or Veteran Ranger of the 75th Ranger Regiment. Scholarships are awarded annually and are open to undergraduate and graduate studies that result in a degree or vocational certification from an accredited college, vocational or technical institution.
